At around 4:55 am on Tuesday March 20, 2018, the city of Great Mills dealt with near devastating school shooting.  Great Mills is located south of Baltimore along the Potomac river. 17 year old armed boy, Austin Wyatt Rollins, was found dead, shot by authorities outside Great Mills High School. He used his father’s gun to try and get back at his ex-girlfriend.There were no casualties but there are two injuries. Those injured include a 16 year old girl who is in critical condition and a 14 year old boy who is in stable condition. The students of the high school were transported to another school safely.

Since January 1st 2018, there has been 16 school shootings.  Great Mills makes 17.
