by Devansh Malik Last Sunday, January 26 at 9:47 A.M., Kobe Bryant and eight others, including his daughter Gianna, died in a fiery helicopter crash in Calabasas, California.
Kobe Bryant (41), Gianna Bryant (13), John Altobelli (56), Kerry Altobelli (46), Alyssa Altobelli (13), Christina Mauser (38), Ara Zobayan (50), Sarah Chester (45), and Payton Chester (13), all died as the Sikorsky S-76B helicopter was heading to Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks from John Wayne Airport in Burbank at a high rate of speed.
Authorities expect to issue an initial report in about ten days, but the final report will take as much as 18 months.
Kobe Bryant also known as Mamba was a world-renowned basketball player who won many awards including being a five time NBA Champ, 18-time All-Star, two time Olympic Gold Medalist, and an Oscar winner. He was a loving father of four daughters aged 17, 13, 3, and 7 months. He was also a loving husband to his wife Vanessa Laine Bryant and an amazing Los Angeles Lakers teammate.
Bryant and his daughter Gianna, also known as Mambacita, were going to a basketball game at Mamba Sports Academy when the helicopter crashed. The basketball world was devastated when the news came out, and many fans and basketball players offered their love and support to the families of those who died in the crash.
