On November 27, 2017, The Prince of Wales made it public that his son, Prince Henry, and Meghan Markle would officially be engaged. He also announced that the wedding would take place on the Sunday of May 19, 2018 at St. George’s Chapel. The wedding was right on schedule.

Prince Charles hosted the memorable event, and personally greeted every guest along with Camilla, William, and Kate. Harry and Meghan made sincere speeches, while Prince William welcomed Meghan Markle into the family. William also complemented Meghan and stated that she was the best thing that ever happened to Harry.

After all heartfelt words were exchanged, comedian James Corden, started a dance-off. The participents included Harry, William, Charles, Meghan, and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. There were many celebrities invited to the wedding including George and Amal Clooney, Elton John, Serena Williams, Nick Jonas, and Markus Anderson. George Clooney waltzed with Kate and Meghan on the dance floor. After the waltzing, the spectacular fireworks began.

Towards the end of the night, they started selling special drinks for the guests. One in particular, made with ginger, was called “When Harry Met Meghan.”

Overall, the night was incredible. The wedding almost immediately turned into a party after the couple exited the building. The dance floor was a huge hit and James Corden did a great job keeping everyone entertained. This was an event we will never forget.
